Learn how Constellation Star Map works
🌟 Overview
Constellation Star Map is a round-based experience where you purchase stars in different constellations. When a round ends, the universe aligns and reveals which constellations won, giving you points based on your purchases.
💡 Key Concept:
Buy stars in constellations you think will win. The more stars you buy in winning constellations, the more points you earn when the round ends!
🔄 How Rounds Work
1. Round Starts (OPEN)
A new round begins with 0 stars purchased. You can buy stars in any of the 10 constellations.
Example: Round 5 starts. All constellations have 0/20 stars. You have 1000 points to spend.
2. Purchase Stars
Click on any constellation to purchase stars. Each star costs 1 point. You can buy multiple stars at once using the purchase modal.
Example: You buy 10 stars in Leo constellation. This costs you 10 points. Leo now shows 10/20 stars purchased.
3. Round Fills Up
When a total of 200 stars are purchased across all constellations, the round automatically closes.
Example: Players collectively purchase 200 stars. The round status changes to "CLOSED" and results are calculated.
4. Results Revealed (RESOLVED)
The universe aligns and reveals 4 winning constellations with different multipliers:
- Dominant: 4× multiplier (highest payout)
- Major: 3× multiplier
- Minor: 2× multiplier
- Faint: 0.5× multiplier (bonus, if applicable)
Example: Round results show:
• Dominant: Leo (4×)
• Major: Scorpio (3×)
• Minor: Aries (2×)
• Faint: Gemini (0.5×)
5. Points Earned
You earn points based on how many stars you purchased in the winning constellations, multiplied by their respective multipliers.
Example: You bought:
• 10 stars in Leo (Dominant: 4×) = 10 × 4 = 40 points
• 5 stars in Scorpio (Major: 3×) = 5 × 3 = 15 points
• 3 stars in Aries (Minor: 2×) = 3 × 2 = 6 points
• 2 stars in Gemini (Faint: 0.5×) = 2 × 0.5 = 1 point
Total Earned: 62 points
Total Spent: 20 points
Net Profit: +42 points

Step-by-Step Guide:
- Go to the current round page (click on "Current Round" in the lobby)
- Click on any constellation card to open the purchase modal
- Use the up/down buttons or type a number to select how many stars to buy
- Use quick buttons: "Buy Half" or "Buy All" for faster purchases
- Click "Purchase Stars" to confirm
- Wait for confirmation - you'll see a success message when the purchase completes
💡 Tips:
- Each star costs exactly 1 point
- You can only buy stars if you have enough points
- Each constellation has a maximum capacity of 20 stars per round
- You can buy stars in multiple constellations in the same round
- Purchases are final - you cannot cancel or refund

Your earnings = (Stars in Dominant × 4) + (Stars in Major × 3) + (Stars in Minor × 2) + (Stars in Faint × 0.5)
Note: If Faint matches any of the main alignments (Dominant, Major, or Minor), the Faint bonus is cancelled and you don't get the 0.5× multiplier for it.

Diversify Your Purchases
Don't put all your stars in one constellation. Spread them across multiple constellations to increase your chances of winning.
Watch the Progress
Monitor which constellations are filling up. Popular constellations might fill faster, so plan your purchases accordingly.
Act Fast
Rounds can fill up quickly when many players are active. Make your purchases before the round closes!
It's Random
Results are randomly generated when the round closes. There's no way to predict which constellations will win, so trust your strategy!

Q: How long does a round last?
A: A round lasts until 200 stars are purchased total. This can be minutes or hours depending on player activity.
Q: Can I see other players' purchases?
A: You can see the total star count for each constellation, but not individual player purchases during an active round. After a round ends, you can see the winners and their purchases.
Q: What happens if I run out of points?
A: You won't be able to purchase more stars until you earn points from winning rounds. New users start with 1000 points.
Q: Can I get a refund if I lose?
A: No, all purchases are final. This is part of the risk/reward system.
Q: How are winners determined?
A: Winners are determined by who purchased the most stars in the winning constellations. The top 3 players in each winning constellation get special recognition.
